Life is a creative journey. I enjoy working as a creative artist and yoga tutor. Trained and qualified with the ICPC, also qualified in counselling. Bringing artwork, poetry, harp playing, yoga and dance to ceremonies to celebrate all occasions. Artistry in action with support, empathy and sensitivity. I'm a Yorkshire lass who lives by the sea with wonderful venues on my doorstep, I offer authentic, unique ideas to enrich and sprinkle some magic into ceremonies. As we connect, I'll sit and listen to your "story" finding the precious treasures of love and care.

Your day may include a harp played at a woodland wedding, or be a "wild wedding" by a river with foraged food locally made. A ceremony can be at a festival, or a beautiful "flower mandala" for a baby blessing. Or maybe create a evening of gentle yoga and harp instead of a hen party.

Families going through the tender trauma of losing a child may choose to celebrate their lost little one with a more gentle ritual of "petals & peace" and poetry and harp played.

Conscious and respectful of nature, I may suggest a tree planting ceremony, or a ash scattering from a boat, or a crystal and flower tribute on the sand by the sea, as alternative options to honour a life.

Life events are opportunities to gather and connect as one, be it a birth, a union, vow renewal, declaration, anniversary, naming ceremony, any life celebration be it simple, lavish or intimate, expresses love to those you cherish.

What my clients say...

"We loved our day so much, I'm so glad that you were recommended to me. It was the best day, running so smoothly, with Julie welcoming guests and getting them seated, which I'm grateful for.

Thanks Julie for all your recommendations, ideas and help! It couldn't have gone any better. Julie also handmade certificates and presented them to the children at the end."

Sophie, James, Sienna and Callum.

Family naming ceremony.

"Julie's the best!"

"Julie was a fantastic celebrant for our special ceremony. She had so many great ideas and a very calming way about her. Some of her ideas, which I took on were a harp being played when we walked in, a family handfasting/binding with ribbons, a water blessing with a candle blessing for those not present at the ceremony, and a flower mandala."

"I was on the other side of the world throughout the planning and Julie made me feel calm and unworried about how it would all go. She was on the phone at the agreed times, and reliable in her email communication. She sent me drafts of what she would say numerous times until I was happy with it."

Ring exchange.

"Thank you, Julie, for helping me say a final goodbye to a late friend.

Julie suggested we did a remembrance on the beach. She arranged flowers and gem stones on the sand. I found this helped me to say farewell my way. It could not have been better.

Love to you Julie."
