Get in Touch

It's my very great honour to assist you in marking the most important transitions in life by helping to conjure unforgettable ceremonies that punctuate our life's adventure. Since first conducting a funeral in 2012 and my first wedding in 2017 I have come to deeply value the invitation to assist families and couples in these pivotal events.

I'm happy to help with all manner of ceremonies and rites, drawing upon a wide range of life experiences in order to create the perfect service for your needs. I'm a musician, a poet and a storyteller with extensive event management experience. I have worked as a counsellor and a mediator and spent many years working in the Arts and Education. I'm bilingual, speaking French fluently while also speaking Spanish confidently with a smattering of British Sign Language.

Finding the right person for your ceremony is largely a matter of chemistry so please don't hesitate to reach out for a conversation. You can probably get a decent sense of me from my website which includes some bits of video.

Wishing you well.

What my clients say...

Ian helped to make our wedding ceremony the fun, spontaneous and magical moment we were hoping for. We wanted a really intimate ceremony and Ian suggested we gather everyone in to stand very close together for the vows which made it really personal, Ian had a light touch and yet his contribution was just right to make the day go as we hoped.

Robin & Melissa

Ian was the obvious choice for both my brother’s and father’s funerals. He summed up our feelings when it was difficult for our family to express our emotions. His words were thoughtful, caring and appropriate for both occasions. He helped us to choose the most lovely music, respecting our ideas and preferences to create services that reflected the lives we were celebrating in a joyful and respectful way.

Brilliant job Ian! You nailed Colin perfectly. Many people said it, not just me. The right amount of humour balanced the sadness of the event, leaving everyone feeling much better afterwards… which again, many have said. Thank you very much, it was perfect, honestly. Your smile was enlightening. A job well done!

Just a few words to say thank you for today. Our man would have been so proud. I left the crematorium quite uplifted after the ceremony which seems strange to say…. but again… Thank You. 10/10
